Healthy Air, Healthy Climate

Air pollution causes over 7 million premature deaths per year1

Air pollution presents serious risks to public health. More than 80% of people living in urban areas where air quality is monitored are exposed to air pollution levels that exceed World Health Organization (WHO) safe limits,2 increasing the risk of heart disease, lung cancer, respiratory diseases and stroke. Health practitioners are working together to cut air pollution to protect patients and the climate.
